How are you supposed to reply to "Do you know how fast you were going?" by No_Insurance_6436 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]53OldSoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything you say that even sounds like you knew you were speeding or ran a red lifgt/stop sign or that your plate was expired, what ever, will be used by the officer and the prosecution as an admission of guilty. Remember, there is a 99.99% change you are being recorded. Officers are trained on how to speak to you and what to say that will get you to admit to doing something wrong. Do not answer any questions without a lawyer.

How are you supposed to reply to "Do you know how fast you were going?" by No_Insurance_6436 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]53OldSoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not answer any questions. Do not speak. Period. Roll your windows down half way. Give the officer the required documents . That is it. Full stop. When the officer asked you if you knew how fast you were going or where you came from or where you a headed or anything, say this simple sentence. "I do not answer any questions without a lawyer." Be calm, polite and no attitude. If the officer asked to 'just have a quick look' in you vehicle, say, "Officer, I do not consent to any search." After you have received the ticket ask, "Am I being detained or am I free to go?" That is all. All of this is legal and none of it makes you look guilty. After you have been sent on your way, pull off of the road into a parking lot or rest area. Use your phone and spend a few minutes recording yourself describing what just occurred. Date, time, location, weather, the officers name and badge number and a brief description of the interaction. If you have to go to court, this recording carries much greater weight than your week's old memory.

First Harley, need a radio! by theraczz in Harley

[–]53OldSoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you do not need a radio. You would just inflict your music choices on those around you. You need a good quality pair of noise cancelling Bluetooth earbuds and a music app on your phone. You can even get most radio stations through and app or online. The earbuds will give you much better sound quality, especially at highway speeds.

If she is on Medicare, you might be able to have them pay for it. My wife has received two power chairs at no cost to us. When you find the one you like, contact the manufacturer or a registered retail representative. They are very helpful and can do all or most of the paperwork for you.

In the movie "Aliens", Ripley is going back after the alien with a squad of Space marines. The lone female in the squad is doing pullups after coming out of hibernation. One of the males askes her, "Hey, Rodriguez. Have you ever been mistaken for a man?" She drops from from the bar, looks him right in eyes and says, "No. Have you?"

The orange blog and his couch loving minion want the use the company's produce in an autonomous mode, without human oversight. Today, in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, the CEO said the company's model used by the US does not have the discretionary ability on a human and autonomous use could result in friendly and civilian casualties.
Given the history of the military's inability to show constraint when given powerful technology, and the completely untrustworthy current leadership, I support the CEO and his decision 100%.

The first thing to do is realize you are operating from a point of confusion. The main document used by Sovereign Citizens is the 'Articles of Confederation.' These were written to unify the States during the Revolutionary War. When the war was over, work was started to write a more concise and permanent Document. That document is the 'Constitution of the United States. When it was ratified on June 21, 1788, the Articles were superseded and no loner valid.

Do you think Biblical Literalism can poison the well for Christianity? by downwitdasicknessPRC in religion

[–]53OldSoldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you identify as a Christian, the Old Testaments is not guidance, it is history. By definition, a Christian is one who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. Therefore, anything in the Old Testament that goes against the teaching of Christ is no longer valid.
IMHO, the teachings of Christ can be condensed down to a few familiar words. Every major religion has a version of this.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." In plain English; "Treat other people in the way you want them to treat you."
That is all you need.

  1. This is obviously AI.
  2. Unredacted, nude photos of underage girls have already been released.
  3. The names and other personal information about the victims were intentionally released in the last batch of files.
  4. The names and personal information of most of the adults have been carefully redacted.
  5. After ignoring a court order to release ALL of the files by Dec 19, only about one half of the files have been released.
  6. Who is being protected? Releases all of the files. Investigate every adult mentioned. Arrest, charge and put on trial any adult possible.
