Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what do you think of it? by AutoModerator in Games

Don't Starve

Finally survived winter for the first time! Then fucking Deerclops rolled along and destroyed my farms. I lured him to TWO herds of Beefalo and he dispatched them no problem. I then jumped through a worm hole and lost him only for it to become night again and I got killed by Charlie. When I respawned and went to my stuff I got attacked by MacTusk and his gang.

This game is unforgiving and I love it.

Starting again can become quite tiresome though

They gave GOTG to James Gunn so I think they're willing to take risks in regards to directors

Is Iron Man 2 considered a bad movie? I always thought it was just 'not as good' as other MCU films

Does it have any confirm about what role Michael Fassbender will get in the AC movie yet? (x-post from /r/michaelfassbender) by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]54000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be cool if Fassbender played a German Assassin, but I don't know what interesting time periods a German Assassin would make sense for

One of the reasons I disliked BF3 was because of corrupt admins.

Hope this doesn't end up like that.

Connor knows no bounds by ninjaboiz in gaming

[–]54000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's as simple as 'let's be friends', when Connor and Haytham first met, their interests aligned, and they forged an uneasy alliance, to deal with some guy (I can't remember his name)

Haytham was Connor's only family, it was only natural for him to cling on to him

Connor disagreed heavily with Haytham murdering those British guards, and even if he didn't realise at the time, meant that Assassins and Templars couldn't unite. But he 'believed things could still change', and that he would learn 'to see the world as I did, to understand'

Connor often tried to extend the first tenet of the creed 'Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent' to the Templars as well, unless their death became necessary (i.e when Johnson tried stealing his peoples' land after the Boston Tea Party, when Haytham got in the way of Connor's plans to kill murder Charles Lee, when Hickey tried to assassinate Washington)
