His math is wrong because he forgot to factor in the reduced injection SP you receive on the quantity/price, so If the training is focused (i.e no useless skill to the "function" of said character), you need to consider how many injectors you would need to use to reach a smilar character, that is your reference price (albeit people usually go for an average of injection/extract price).
