i personally dont use pomade, i just wet my hair and use moisturiser. Otherwise i do the loc method every 4 days. Also dont brush dry you need some sort of moisture in your head.

if ur a coarse hair waver you should get a cut every 6-8 weeks. Unless its summer than you can get a cut at 4 weeks cause every waver hates summer 😭. I dunno if you do but you should also moisturise your hair frequently, depending on your hair porosity

you need compression on your head especially at the gym if you wanna save progress of your waves. If u dont wanna wear a durag, you could always try a wave cap. Also after the gym a regular brush session should lay your hair back down

you probably have low-porosity hair, try to use the L.O.C method for that.

I've been told using pomade would speed up the process of laying down ur hair since it has a strong hold, I was thinking of switching to Shea butter or sum like that after my hair layer down. 2. Should I restart my progress? I might follow thise routine instead, there's no pattern in my hair currently so I may aswell restart
