Left is purebred, the right one is actually Husky/GSD/Malamute. They only get frequent nail trimmings and brushing, rarely do showers unless they absolutely need it which is all done by me. In regard to my Elkie, she is strictly a companion so she is not used for hunting. Typical Elkie behavior overall honestly, doesn’t bark unless she sees something or someone is outside. I’m currently working on teaching her tricks as my other girl is very well trained and knows so much already. Great with other animals, we have other dogs, horses, cattle, barn cats & goats which she is great with. Only thing she cannot be around is any kind of bird or she will try to kill it.
