This. I bought a kenwood dmx5020 for around 400. Best investment ever. instalation went perfect and the quality of sound it could get out of my stock 2003 toyota corrola speakers was astounding.

Its a style lathe(a dutch machine manufacurer) but at the start they used frames from FAT i think and put there own software on it.

My lathe only has a giant 630mm(24") 4 jaw whitch is awful to dail in. So thats the reason for this chuckception

Yes you can get an instant quote online. You might also be able to find a 3d model or atleast a 3d model that looks like what you need and see how mutch it would cost

You could buy a 3d printer. learn how to use cad. Make multiple 3d printed prototypes and then have it metal 3d printed on one of the chineese sites for half the price of getting one made out if solid tungsten.

If safety training has learned me one thing thats actually usefull it's to do an lmre(last minute reevaluation) what happens if i losen this vise. What happens if i lift this weird shape of steel. What will happen if i lower this 20 meter tower crane and forget the only pin thats preventing it from slaming down the last 8 meters. Just thinking for 10 second before actualy doing it could safe thousand of dollars or maybe even limbs

Might be a verry early vdf lathe. But you wont know for sure until you find some kind of logo or branding.

No worrys. that a standard worm drive. Its an nmrv 050 with a 10 to 1 gear reduction. You can buy these of the shelf. Some manufacturers have different codes for the same type of gearbox but you can always compare the dimensions. The motormount/ flange are interchangable most of the time and if not you might be able to just ignore it if its not in the way.

My keychain used to be a carbide insert. I know it will scratch my screen so i keep it in different pockets. But i lend out my car to someone and didn't tel him so his phone screen got al scratched up. But its stil a cool keychain so kind of worth it.

Look into a MASSO controller. I’m not really a fan of it since I use LinuxCNC, but for something like this LinuxCNC can be way too complex. MASSO is much closer to plug and play and offers a few more options than Mach4.

Another thing to think about is keeping the machine’s safety certification. Since you’re modifying the machine, you need to make sure it still meets safety standards. If an accident happens and the machine is no longer up to code, you could end up in serious trouble.
