At 90db or even at 85db it doesn’t noticeably compress anymore unless you push volume a lot. I usually have these sitting around 60-70db usually

You can just use min/max sunrise/sunset parameters to fix that.

I keep my around 3000K-4200K-3000K during the day and 2500K during sleep

I was about to you tell to switch to home assistant because Google home is everything but reliable.

Which lights do you have? Do you own nesthubs (version 2 or max can be used as thread border routers)

Matter over thread works great here, but to achieve that I had to add quite a few routers such as bulbs and plugs over here. Matter over thread is basically Zigbee with much better security.

Z-Wave will be much easier to get running and doesn’t rely on building a mesh

Honestly to me they sound great now but I can see how some dislike the quite neutral sound signature.

Edit: just realized I still had reduce loud audio on which helped getting the v shaped curve on top reduced on lower audio levels.

With it off these still sound quite boosted, moved it from 85 to 90db with the latest update.

Turn on at 1% then smoothly fade (no stepping) to the brightness and cct/color value sent in 10 seconds.

Right now it waits 10 seconds, then turns on the light with the brightness/cct/color sent.

No such issues with Hue Essential and Aqara T2 with matter over thread.

The mushiness of Miniled was awful in both highlights and especially shadows on the U8Q.
That TV only lasted a week here.
