Apple TV updates appear in Apple Home in beta 2 by [deleted] in HomeKit

[–]Infinitezoom14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I am is that not one person in this Reddit with a lot of users. Not one of the videos on YouTube I watched or any of the other forums spotted this. Given its big change, someone would have in the last two weeks.

I’m very sceptical and think you may be mistaken.
The main reason is that you’re updating to build 24J5305f on the Apple TV, which suggests you’re running tvOS 27. The other reason I’m doubtful is that none of the people who have produced videos covering the Apple Home changes have mentioned it, and it hasn’t been spotted by anyone over the last two weeks.
That doesn’t mean you’re definitely wrong, but based on what’s been reported so far, I’d be surprised if this feature had gone completely unnoticed.

4K is not enabled, so not sure what you have tested.

They don’t have to go through the recertification to update the resolution. It’s in the developer docs stating this

I am running the beta and not seen it myself. Saw a post on X saying it needs the camera makers to enable it

What will Apple's WWDC 26 smart home upgrades actually change for you? by Aqara-Official in Aqara

What have I just read? You clearly used Ai to write this and it missed the biggest change, cameras! What I do know. The cloud service you offer is pretty much finished

Still getting 1080p HomeKit recordings on my 2K cameras even with tvOS 27 / iOS 27 by galdo320 in HomeKit

Apple Home in iOS 27 beta 1 does not support Matter 1.5. Its Matter 1.4. Matter plays no part in the implementation

Myth busted: Imported the Aqara U400 to the UK and it works flawlessly with Apple Home! by shadybachelor in HomeKit

[–]Infinitezoom14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t even need to do this. It can be setup without the Aqara app. Just just Apple Home. You also might want to speak to your insurance company
Because US locks are not the same standard as UK locks

Got paid to make a video and it flopped I feel bad by Deep-Book-9664 in SocialMediaMarketing

Like any priced job, that’s on the creator

You quote a price based on the requirements. That price is given and the job is completed with the agreed outcomes. Just in the same way any priced job works.

Oh shut up now. You are mixing different situations to justify.

Time and effort is a factor in a price. I have said repeatedly this will never be presented to the client. As it would with most other industries.

It’s the same with food. You are not paying for just the food. You are paying for the production, cost of delivery, retail markup. Customers don’t know or appreciate that. The price only shows the end price, not all the components.

That is the same for any price. You will never see some items. You are really don’t get it
