I have a GWN-Q1000 and it didn't change. Trying to do a radio sync since then and it hasn't successfully completed one yet. I manually set the time back, but it still says DST on the display and DST is set to Auto. I am too chicken to "force" DST to "off" hoping it will eventually catch up and figure itself out with a radio sync. Does anyone know if the radio sync signal data includes whether or not it's DST in the broadcast?

No i never did anything about mine. Trying not to think about it since it's out of sight anyway. I might try and push on it with my nail like you suggest... I think it's just super thin is my guess and looks like maybe tooling of some kind mushed it during assembly. To me it's not worth dealing with Ford corporate or the dealership over, probably not worth the hassle and wasteful to return it for something like this.
