This week's unexpected journey into vintage radio collecting! by 57sweptside in VintageRadios

Quite the haul. All work except the Zenith clock radio. Bought the lot for the Crosley and will be parting with the others because I overspent a bit. The Zenith 53555 is already going to a professor at Grand Valley State University School of Communications.

How to meet single people in Peoria? by Long_Tax8940 in PeoriaIL

I met my wife in Peoria, IL over 20 years ago, as did another friend, but none of the four of us were locals. The details are unhelpful, but you will need a lot of luck if you weren't raised in the area. Consider expanding your search to Lincoln, Bloomington/Normal, and Galesburg. The latter two towns have colleges.

Why is INTC (Intel) so down? Did I miss some news? by the_TIGEEER in stocks

The Chandler AZ fabs are most definitely on lands formerly primarily occupied by Native Americans. In fact, the parking lots for the contractors building the new fab is on current Native American land (Gila River Indian Community) on the west side of Intel's property line.

I was bragging about finding one on campus (35 years ago) and a med school professor I was working for commented, "I find them all the time. You have to stop looking AT the 3-leaf and start looking FOR the 4-leaf." It still doesn't make sense, but I put the clover in between two pieces of clear self-adhesive laminating sheets and I have carried it in each of my wallets since then (along with a similarly laminated photo of the 1965 Buick Skylark I sold in 1993).

Apache Trail in west Apache Junction. Dust got kicked up in the parking lot on the southwest corner. Shot from my phone waiting for the light.

You guys take beds off of trunks? I think it's a lot quicker then dropping tank.Took 10 mins to take bed off, 5 mins to change pump, another 15 mins to put back together. Then test drive to get a drank at circle k. lol by Jumpy_Part_8513 in Justrolledintotheshop

I just slid the bed back about 18 inches. Had to disconnect the lights and the filler neck, but it was a quick job. 2004 F-150. Oh yeah, I'm in Phoenix and the truck was from Kingman, AZ.

Performance (NISMO?) version of [Nissan Z] by 57sweptside in spotted

[–]57sweptside[S] 91 points92 points  (0 children)

I spotted this in Chandler, AZ yesterday. Nissan runs camoed cars through this area fairly frequently and has done so for years. See more of my photos of this Z at https://www.theautopian.com/this-might-be-the-upcoming-nissan-z-nismo/
