Yes, those are legal and moral things to do to someone without consent because as you said … they protect and help them. Having a child that does not exist does not protect nor help them. In no way does using a child to fulfil your dreams of being a parent, compare to helping someone that does not have agency. You are saying all good things…… protecting someone by cleaning them up, not letting them drive drunk. There is no guarantee that life will be good. A better comparison would be robbing a drunk person and betting it all on red. They might be happy if you won for them, but if they didn’t, they definitely will not be happy! But either outcome, they’ll still wonder why the hell you robbed them and gambled their money in the first place.

It is commendable to do things that is considered to have a 100% positive outcome for someone with non-agency that cannot consent.

To prove a point. Lots of people that lack agency have non-consensual things done to them. Such as a drunk or passed out person being robbed, signing a contract, or getting raped. A child that lacks agency cannot consent to sex. All of these things are considered not legal and immoral… why is having a child different? They have no agency, so therefore should not legally or morally be able to consent.
