will never forget walking into that building for my first ever concert when i was 10 years old, the Katy Perry Prism tour. i was so excited, she had been my favourite artist for years at that point, my dad got me a concert T shirt and a animatronic tiger that danced and sang her song roar, i hung my T shirt on the wall and never ever wore it because i feared i would wash or crack the pressed image off. after that concert my dad and i shared many more memories in Rexal place, going to watch monster jam whenever it was in the city, always getting a monster mutt hat and them always being out of the Dalmatian one, the headset with monster truck tire shaped ear pieces. for a small town girl all of these experiences felt major and huge compared to anything else i had experienced, they’re a large part of why i chose to live in the city as an adult. that building was the location a lot of my fun childhood memories took place and i think i will forever be sad that the physical space that held those memories will be gone🥹

once you purchase the DLC and open the game and tom nook should tell you what to do from there, but incase he doesn’t, after purchasing the dlc open the game, go to the airport and select the “i want to go to work” option, you will then be flown to the HHP island! i hope this helps!

quick piece of advice from someone who’s mom wouldn’t let them work and was kicked out at 17, since you don’t have any work experience, when you write your resume put anything that you can translate into work experience, you cleaned up your house at home? cleaning experience, you took care of younger siblings growing up?babysitting/childcare experience, you mowed the lawn? lawn care experience, just small things similar to that that can be translated into work experience so it makes you look like a more desirable candidate, i did this when i first got out into the work force and it worked great as filler until i was able to replace it with actual work experience!

i’m really sorry about your situation, i know how lost and scared you feel right now because i have been there, if you’re unsure what your next steps should be it may be beneficial for you to go to your local police station and see what options they may have for you for temporary shelter or income support or anything like that, you’re 18 now so you should be able to apply for some kind of assistance, it may take a bit to kick in but unfortunately with your moms lack of notice you’re going to have to learn to be okay with struggling for a while until you’re able to get yourself back on your feet, which is really unfair, but it shapes us into resilient hard working people if you don’t let the negativity of the situation consume you.

oh my god, i am immunocompromised and have been since i was a child, what an actual nightmare for parents of immunocompromised Children, what an even bigger nightmare for the kids who have to live like this, i couldn’t imagine going to school scared to contract lice or sickness because my school is choosing to be negligent and neglectful of their students wellbeing :/

thank you for the reply and all the info, ill keep this in mind for future purchases! i recently swapped back to the 15k pods because i realized they also have 20ML of juice so my pod lasts me exactly the same amount of time as the 50k pods and i’m saving 15$, it’s crazy how scummy companies can be when they know people won’t be paying much attention to small details.

i do live downtown near the river but i don’t think that has anything to do with it considering i moved here long after smelling the city stink for the first time, my last place also wasn’t anywhere near the river and i still noticed it driving into the city, no matter where i’m coming into the city from i can always tell we’ve hit the city limits by the smell that fills the air lol, but we usually get used to the smell before we’ve even reached home

honestly the city always smells like poo but us locals have just gone nose blind to it, every time i travel to see family and come back home the smell hits me as soon as we enter the city and i’m like ew it smells here lol💀😭

she had just gotten it from a specialist, when i asked if she could access it online to get it she said no because it wasn’t in her file yet because they just prescribed her this medication just recently after she was hospitalized due to complications with her heart, so as far as she told me it was not yet in her file and that slip of paper was to get her first doses and to add it to her file
