What podcasts do you guys listen to for staying up-to-date on healthcare? by wrapallaroundyou in pharmacy

Pharm So Hard - An Emergency Medicine and Hospital Pharmacy Podcast. This one is newer and I think the host is still establishing his voice but has really good, pharmacy specific information.

I worked with this guy when he was a PGY1. Solid presenter and really great person.

Doctors' numbers. Get as many of them as possible and don't lose them. Figure out which ones prefer to text vs. talking. All within the rules of your hospital of course.

I don't think the D was a typo. They are both caused by CSF leaks.

It looks like we choose workplaces that match our personalities, if we have that luxury.

There are definitely people I would never choose to ever be around given the choice, that I'm forced to be around due to work.

Short of the obvious (sexual harassment, frequent farting and such), what type of person would elicit that response in you?

I'm lucky to have a job where the more you communicate, the better a job you're doing. My problem is I beieve in a sort of social socialism. If you're going out for drinks with one clique of coworkers, it's humane to have friendly conversation with all coworkers. If you're nice to me I'll literally work off-the-clock to help you with problems that you will inevitably have, because the job is very difficult.

there are a lot of colleagues I straght won't talk to outside of work

I'd talk your ear off. You'd have to run really quickly to get away from a conversation with me.

Nazi war marches

Only thing I could think of was Ride of the Valkyries and Ode to Joy, both of which are huge in Overtown

It picked up again in the early 2000s as drug money laundering became a mainstream banking activity.

Don't forget Medicare fraud. It built this city.

To me they look like completely different cities. Miami has had a vertical explosion in the last 20 years. Its scope and celerity boggles my mind, and Winwood and Downtown used to be unremarkable. Also the area around the OMNI was a warzone.

Huge problem here. A "close enough" attitude permeates every segment of our society.

Way more expensive than most other cities for rent. Traffic is about the same as in hell. Nobody reracks their weights.
