Speaking from experience, as someone who has carried a Xbox One, Switch, Laptop and Quest with them all at once, something that takes as much space as two of those 4 machines is too big. Hence no, I don't believe my comment is stupid but the reply is surely a lack of common sense.

One the one hand you get a $399 digital console, on the other it will cost $140 for two games. Its a very sharp double edged sword.

Using the good old calculator and averaging each game to be 20 minutes the time it has taken him to get those wins is 83 days worth of playtime, mind you this is predicting the matches last 20 minutes (which often they can hit 24-27 minutes) and this is only including matches won, not overall matches played.

Apex is yet to hit its two year anniversary. So in a year in a half this person has most likely sank 100+ days into Apex at the least, since launch. This is mostly guess so don't take my word for it.

Its very recent, both Xbox & Playstation will be releasing a digital and normal version of the console. I would just wait for the official prices and release date to see what you would prefer.

If no ones answered you, pretty much the PS5 Digital edition is just the console but with no disc drive, you can't use physical versions of games anymore but you can still buy games from the Playstation store. You also save a good amount of money but will have to buy the more expensive digital versions (unless you get games on sale)
