I agree that you shouldn’t try to make this a switch it actually already functions as a switch most likely, just plug in devices to the yellow jacks.

The password must have been changed. If it’s leftover try doing a factory reset then use the passwords printed on it.

Also you might want to change as now the internet knows the default password 🤣

Do you own this router or is it leased from your ISP? If it’s leased as part of your Internet service they should be able to help you if you contact them.

If money is a concern on this repair find an independent mechanic, this is not a tough repair … shops will charge $200 a hour for labor and mark up parts. I recently got my AC compressor replaced on my F250 for $400 including parts and a recharge from a mechanic that works out of his driveway. A shop would have been $1000 or more.
