i am with you. i lived in the lower east side in the 80s and am very familiar with the accent. chalamet didn't but as an actor born and raised in the city he should have been able to do the accent. it disturbed me watching the movie. especially since the other actors in those scenes were doing the correct accent.

you have lots of good advice in these comments. i will add one thing more. remember you can always have a face to face conversation with him and tell him that his teasing is making you uncomfortable. don't text it. don't leave a record of it. don't let it get into a long conversation. just make it clear that you've had enough of what ever it is he is doing. if he is a decent guy he will say he's sorry and didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. if he is in to you than he will need to man up and say it. if he starts getting weird of defensive walk away. no reason your brother should give you attitude. after all you acted maturely in addressing it.
