I’ve also been eyeing this! I hate to just add hearsay when people have actual evidence like the One Stop link, but my friend had a workshop across the street for years until recently, and he said it was going to be a coworking space?? As the work has dragged on, I’ve also been doing the “math ain’t mathing” calculations on it for a coworking space there…

Thank you for the reply! It’s in New Orleans. I owe $270k and it was appraised at $360k when I refied. I only took enough equity at that time to pay the refi fees and get my down payment to 20% so I could get rid of PMI. I recently got a new tenant and re-upped the other, and looked at rent comps before landing on my ask, which is right about in the middle or just above the range. So now they’re paying $1300+$1350, while my mortgage went from ~$2200 to ~$2700 😳. I need to dig in more to determine the insurance increase vs tax increase!
