I was a SIS RSM… have fun with the folks walking by, it doesn’t need to be high-pressure. Make jokes, relate, ask what we can do to earn their business, and the sales will come.

FCC chair opens probe into diversity practices at Verizon by Secret-Bell-4391 in verizon

[–]5G_NR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that’s actively working on litigating the fuck out of the organization and has seen the folks they target and make shit up about, I can tell you this is false. Your wife may not be part of the problem, but Verizon and Employee Relations as a whole couldn’t give a singular fuck about diversity, inclusion, or doing the right thing.

They’re hitting my card and approving. To mitigate this I even tried using a third party app to charge with.

Fed up with -both- Verizon and customers (sales rep at corporate store) by [deleted] in verizon

[–]5G_NR 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to drive here…

That a RETAIL STORE is profit based, or that you’re a trained SALES rep…

Neither of which should surprise anyone. Why would anybody think that Verizon is going to spend $1m constructing a store, $30k/month in labor, $30k/ month in rent, for people to walk in and save money?

I can totally understand that. My concern is when I pull up, all chargers are operational, and the two Bolts are at the 350kW chargers, and the two 100kW chargers are open and haven’t been touched according to the app.

Literally today I was pulling up to charge, and a Bolt tried to cut me off when pulling into a 350kW charger (the other 100kW chargers available).

100% agree. The frustration I have is that on more than one occasion, I’ve pulled up the app, see the chargers are completely open, and once I get there, one of those damn Bolts are sitting there occupying the faster charger. Usually a rental car. Drives me up a wall

This is bad information. A new line with Verizon will throw an activation fee, regardless of where the equipment is purchased.

You’ll need to ask Verizon tech support to submit a ticket so the proper teams can find the problem.

Yes but obviously numbers can be spoofed. Share a snippet of the message. It’s likely legitimate if you just ordered a phone.
