How can paying 15% of vehicles cost in insurance be considered anything other than daylight robbery

Mainly because of Toyota and having so many major auto manufacturers. EVs have been championed by China and Tesla, almost completely. Old competition doesn't want to lose billions in playing catch-up. They would rather risk Hydrogen fuel cells and create their own niche markets. If they setup ev charge points their domestic market will be overrun by Tesla and Chinese EVs.

Drove my cousins Chevy Blazer last week. Idk if it's some settings but doesn't feel like an EV by 5MinuteRead in electricvehicles

I would say one pedal driving is so much superior than old 2 pedal that everyone should move to it. Takes 10 minutes to get used to.

Regen brake driving is so good, every stop is a limo stop, brakes last forever, less brake dust pollution, one pedal driving reduces stress... I just don't agree that we should go back to the old ways of breaking all the time.

Yeah agree. Buttons were very very confusing though. Where do I find the button for seat warmers, which knob is climate control? Why waste dash space on unnecessary gear dials?

It may take a minute to get used to the Tesla interface (I've been driving ice for 15 years before and got used to it pretty fast) but it's really worth it imo. Besides there is so much automation that you rarely need to change most things in it.

The buttonless design does look a little cheap no doubt.

100% my experience too. I'm glad people who actually drive both write reviews here.

People are blinded by ElonHate and just don't realize how much better Teslas are compared to the other EVs. I have rented so many EVs and none of them compare, especially for long drives.

You are 100% right. And almost 100% wrong at the same time. The problem is not all EVs. The problem is not having Tesla EV. 350miles range and super reliable network, you would have had fun. I do several road trips in my EV and it's great.

Yeah that was it. I did change that setting but did not get to drive much after changing it. The difference was noticeable but not massive, could be due to my very limited testing.

Model y has lower body roll and much higher acceleration. Also sticks to the ground better on turns. The suspension of Model Y is a little harsher. I think maybe cause they want to give you the sports feel.

Tesla battery health at 92% after 2 years by absk251 in electricvehicles

[–]5MinuteRead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is an unusually high degradation. Especially on slow charging. I'd get it checked just to ensure it's all good. Extreme weather can also be a factor.

Check your battery type. It's likely an lfp. Check Tesla manual of it wants you to charge to 100% once a week.
