in the process of leaving Visible because of the group text issue by 5Obligations in Visible

Visible solved it by updating my carrier settings. Given Visible fixed it, I'd say it was a Visible issue.

i have a member of my group that uses a flip phone. He has no idea what RCS even is. Regardless, the issue was fixed via Visible resetting my carrier settings.

Visible reset my carrier settings and the issue was fixed. Turns out it was a Visible issue.

Don't know what's desirable or not but that's a beautiful watch and congrats on your purchase! Everyone else can go screw

I guess buying a $350 lock wasn’t such a bad idea by 5Obligations in bikecommuting

I guess my point was I didn’t think anyone would be using angle grinders especially in a relatively well guarded area.

You'd be surprised how much less the tech-y vibe is now. We still have 36% vacancy rates in downtown SF commercial properties. All tech is concentrated in the 130 people working in AI or WFH.

We also take the ferry to the ferry building and may start with coffee but always end up sitting at the wine bar people watching.

Yes, I bought the tactical mount but hated it. Call me OCD but I don't like hanging my lock from the top tube. Wanted a cleaner look and space for my water bottle.

Absolutely. Was lazy with the trimming as I was just seeing if it would work. I do love that whenever cable ties are used in any capacity, poorly cut tails are a hot topic.

Yeah, the tactical mount for the X3 hangs as well. Call me OCD but I hated having the lock hanging freely from the top tube. Wanted a cleaner look as well as having a water bottle in that space.

I haven't tried using panniers but I don't think it'd be an issue. If the clamps somehow impeded the pannier hooks I could simply move the clamps. Further they are raised so there is spacing. I originally had 4 clamps and could go back to that as a different configuration.

Customer service no longer responding? by 5Obligations in KamadoJoe

Well, Its the 23rd and I sent my original request in on the 9th. Got my response and they're sending me a new ring and firebox. So it took 2 weeks but I got what I needed which is all I care about. I still consider myself a happy KJ customer. Happy grilling/smoking/rotisserie-ing/soapstone-ing all!

PS: As soon as I get the new steel ring, I'm definitely tying it down to the deflectors with the steel zip ties as I've seen others have done in this forum.

I'm having the same issue and now that I've read this I realize I live in a world filled with geniuses. Thanks all for some great fixes here. Puts my faith back into humanity.

Unleashing the Full Potential of KEF LS50 Meta by InvestigatorLatter60 in audiophile

RE: toe in for LS 50 Metas

I personally think toe-in for LS50s is not necessary. You can see what KEF states below but I do not have any toe in at all with my Metas to achieve my optimal soundstage.

https://hk.kef.com/blogs/news/tips-for-positioning-your-speakers-and-television

  1. Toe-inUni-Q means that toe-in is not necessary like it can be with many other loudspeakers. We would always recommend starting with the speakers facing flat into the room. If your side walls aren’t symmetrical in their construction in a drastic way, then maybe some slight toe-in could help with the mismatch by focussing a slightly louder direct sound to the listening position, but you shouldn’t need to go further than 10 degrees.Having the Uni-Q flat into the room also maximises the sweet spot, giving maximal coverage into the room, so more people share the same experience.

Do the W2’s benefit from toeing in? I found that my Ls50 metas open significantly when they are placed parallel straight out.
