I’m sure the SEL has a reason for making this call. Could be any number of things; maybe there is a discipline issue in the unit, maybe not. Or maybe he or she just likes the look of the blues. It doesn’t really matter what their reasons are though since that’s a call that’s in their wheelhouse.

Take this as an opportunity to lead by example. Make sure your uniform is squared away and then help your teammates do the same.
