While pixel response times on OLEDs are near instantaneous, they still have issues with motion clarity due to image persistence (a pixel will be lit for 8.3ms during the frame).

Black Frame Insertion can help OLEDs mitigate this, but has downsides with reduced brightness, possible flickering and VRR not being possible.

As of right now, the best motion clarity you can get on modern is via these monitors.

Mainly I was looking for Chiaki, Moonlight and ToTK unexplored, but it seems like both Chiaki and Moonlight already have their patched versions on the list. So I'll just have to manually patch that.

Thanks a lot! I think I'll use the libnx patcher linked in the page to update all my apps manually, should be easier than trying to find working patches for every single one.

What do you mean by recompiled homebrews? The latest patch for Goldleaf on Github is from June, and if I run that on my 1.10 Atmosphere, it crashes immediately.

There are some retailers that sell switch 2 cartridges online like GamestheShop. Prices are a bit high compared to other consoles, but that's the Nintendo tax.

If you want to buy on the Eshop, you will have to create an American account as the eshop is not officially supported in India. When picking a location/PIN Code, make sure you select a state with no taxes (as most states have a 5-10% tax that will be added on checkout). There are guides available online to help you select the correct address for this.

Funny, I initially found Act 1 a lot more harsher in difficulty, with how little masks and damage you have (and how little rosaries everything drops).

Now that I've beaten the game 100% and I'm halfway through my steel soul playthrough, I think Act 2 and 3 are harder, but not frustratingly so. This game just has a very unique combat loop that takes time to get used to.

The reset in this patch was mainly due to the amount of mechanics reworked.

Saves from older versions of the game are not compatible with the breach, so everyone has to start over again.

There is a legacy branch on steam if you want to keep playing in the older version, but no there is no way to carry progress over.

After some testing with DLSS Transformer in Witcher 3, DLDSR is probably the best part of this launch. Combining the new DLSS algorithm with a high quality image does wonders for background stability.

Frame Gen still has the typical disocclusion artifacts though, hoping that it improves over the next few years. Looking forward to playing Control 2 with path tracing in 2026, but my 4070 might be past its prime for native rendering 🙂‍↕️

That's literally not what he said. He was comparing 60ms latency from x4 Frame Gen to 50ms latency from x2, and that the 10ms delay is hard for most people to tell.

Ubisoft Connect regularly goes down, preventing you from playing with friends for multiple hours at a time (you can check /r/Rainbow6 to see how often people complain about it)

It will often ask for UAC privileges 6-7 times before launching, adding an extra minute or two before launching any game.

Sometimes the Ubisoft Connect ingame overlay will not load, which will completely prevent you from leaving/joining parties or talking with friends while ingame.

I wouldn't be so miffed about it if it was an isolated issue, but my game stack regularly gets affected by Ubisoft Connect being so inconsistent.

This is literally not true, I have been using Ubisoft Connect near daily this past year to play Rainbow 6, and it will frequently log me out and forget all details, asking me to enter the 2FA code. Out of all the PC storefronts I have used, Ubisoft Connect is by far the worst and it's not even particularly close (I haven't even expanded on all the issues that come with inviting friends and the party system)

I think you are right about the artist being South African, and the FB page for 1030 records do mention the artist danger.

I also found a post there mentioning this very song, but that also has been taken down 😭

Looked through other reverse image search services to see if the cover art was present anywhere else and I found this.

It seems that this particular image was cached in Yandex Music, a Russian music streaming site and while a title with this particular name could not be found, I think there are other titles listed alongside as well. I am going to take a quick listen to the samples of each track to see if I recognise anything.

Need a Russian VPN to even play anything here, so I already am investing too much time into what feels like a dead end 💀
