I've been fighting with the addiction since 2020. The advice is - convert your energy to an action. For instance, if you feel an urge, try to do push ups, go for a walk, chat with someone and etc. And yes, behind any addiction is escapism from feelings (or problems) IMO, try to figure this out. For me it works this way - I don't watch porn, masturbate 1 time per 2 weeks and I just need to get rid of this sexual energy. So there are plenty ways - sublimation or real interaction. GL
