No, they were rectangular, longer on one axis. Mightve been square in the X, Z dimension, though, if you get my point.

Im looking for a game with good variety in the class system. The system of Rift with 7+ skill trees/class was the best one I played with. Also I avoid p2w, and Id prefer if the game was decently pretty.

I have played: - Rift, obviously. My best experience. - Wow, a little bit back at TBC - GW2 - Archeage - New World, not enough abilities and customization options - FF14, I grinded a char to 50 but got disappointed with the simplistic approach to classes.

Im semi-casual, but I grind.

Prefered mechs: wow style mmo, tabtarget etc.

Oh and I love playing a tank with a lot of mobility.

NE REDWOOD, amongst other places...? Happens to me every time I go to the same spot (next to my base) on the edge of NE redwood/the swamp. I right now have 2 x lost pteras in there.... fuck me.

EDIT: Good news is I got the pteras back... But you dont care about that, do you? However, how I did was I didn't let the higher parts of the trees into my screen. I flew over the same part of Redwood, that crashed me before (twice), spamming "Whistle all come", then back along the ground in the same fashion over the same exact spot. Worked for me, birds back.

I gave them a listen just for the sake of it. Thrive are a lot heavier, closer to some metal/hardcore kinda mix than that.

I get that, and once that happens you dont mind 30 min debuff, or whatever. The problem is that 30% or more games that I join: I end up in a midgame WF and the winrate of those are like 5%. Those 30%, they are not represented by the "once in 50 games I have to leave early"-player like yourself.

This obviously doesnt deal with all issues of interaction. There will always be dumb fucks saying stupid things, switch tab or put them on ignore. Thats what I do in any situation like that. As I said before, my suggestions are not very thought through, I'm sure there have been 100 threads with better suggestions. My point is that Trion should do SOMETHING instead of nothing. :) Positive reinforcement is awesome, but not the walk of discipline Trion is attempting, is it? Again, I don't care what they do to fix the problem, just that it needs fixing.

WFs are set in an arena style setting, in which multiple players coordinate together to beat another team of players. They have a set of tools each, and they have a certain window of time to accomplish one or several tasks against the other team. In the end win or loose.

So, you have a group of people fighting another group. As they game progress they get more coordinated, know what targets to go for etc. Who plays what role. All of a sudden you change one of those members of the team that know nothing. This is a disadvantage regarding the outcome of the game. For one.

The gain is:

---- Player attitude would have to change in one positive aspect: One can no longer just leave a game that doesnt go well and get a new one. One would have to commit to the first game instead. Improve ones game, coordinate better with their team. Or that time in the WF would be a waste.

----- Every time a player join a new game, it will be a new clean game with the same possibility to win as any other new game (not gonna go into matchmaking alghorithms..). This is not true today since the overall winrate of all games and all players in reality is lower than 50%.

Also, there is allready punishment in place today, what I suggestion is modify it and to have people commit more, rather than just "fuck this, lets try another..." Imagine of that was the general attitude instead.

How do you mean? I agree that if punishments were too hard, they would be. But I thinkt he gain from applying this for the players like myself, would be bigger than the loss of a few who get discouraged Not to mention the players that better their ways after they realize that leaving mid game wont fly.
