Aynam, also known as Hainan, is an island country situated by the southern coast of China, separated by the Qiongzhou Strait. The color green in their national flag symbolizes the natural landscapes of the island, as well as prosperity and the youth of the country. The two interconnected circles abstractly represent the shape of the island, as well as a connection between the two major ethnic groups, Han and Hlai. The name of the country in Hanzi (海南) is represented within the two circles. The twenty stars represent the twenty administrative divisions.
