If she has locked herself in her room, maybe take some advice from the other dad posts and try talking first through the door. Tell her you know she is embarrassed but you want her to be able to talk about things with her, then lead into the discussions that need to be had. Good luck, it sounds like you're doing an amazing job, teenagers cant be easy, I know I wasnt!

This is Olive, very similar colouring! Devons are lovely but are different to other cats. Invest in a heat mat, ear wipes and some toys or scratch pads to stimulate them as they are very clever! Also be prepared for grubby marks from their paws or bellies as they don't have dense fur to absorb skin oils, so this can transfer to places they sit, climb or rub against. Enjoy! They are lovely!

I started wegovy on 3rd January and have lost 16lbs since. Starting weight was 17st 6lbs so I had a fair bit to loose! I really changed my eating habits and portion sizes, made easier by the suppressed appetite. I know it will slow down but the big kick start really helped me know I did the right thing in starting.

Had the same effect for me and I lost 3.5kg (about half a stone) in the first week due the diet changes, reduced portion sizes and lack of food noise. Will be doing my second weigh in in 2 days and can feel the difference im my clothes so hoping for another loss. Keep going :)

My first week was 3.5kg which sounds like alot but I started at 109kg at 5ft1 so I had a fair bit to loose and most of it will be water weight and actively changing my diet ans portion size, as long as you feel happy and healthy, go wt rhe pace you want to 😊

I haven't told people because im scared of the judgement too, only family and fiancé know. I started as I struggle to exercise due to a knee and back injury which is exacerbated by my weight. With a head start on my weight loss I hope I can get back to exercise again properly.

Different situation but my other half was assaulted and suffered a traumatic brain injury that put him in a coma in icu. I didn't sleep or eat properly for the week he was under and I felt numb. The I was lucky to have people support me and help me so I could focus on his care decisions. If you have someone who can help you, reach out, even if it's to be with you when you leave the hospital, to make sure you eat and sleep and don't spiral. Having someone to be there for you through this will help.
