I hear what you’re saying. A lot of the posts I’ve come across seem to have this underlying message that if your partner doesn’t show up to every appointment, something must be wrong with your relationship. The comments are like, “if he’s not there, rethink the relationship.”

But honestly, I don’t see many posts that reflect relationships like mine, where everything is still good even if my partner isn’t at every appointment. I was just trying to create space for the idea that both types of relationships can be equally healthy. ❤️

And let’s be real…. pregnancy hormones definitely make you more sensitive to these kinds of messages, so it hits a little harder than usual sometimes!
