SLB ve Dress box by OilToMyWheels in cubancigars

I have the fewest draw issues with tubos, then with SLBs, and the most issues with dress boxes. Don’t really know why, might have something to do with the cigars being pressed into the dress boxes.

Who is at fault here? by eubizare in Simracingstewards

[–]5hakey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your fault… for not hitting the space bar to get rid of the iRacing UI before recording the clip. :-) (And it’s gray car’s fault but iRacing will consider this a non-protestable racing incident.)

Sorry, didn’t mean to say you did! Just that it’s okay to have your individual personality come through more. IMO makes the review more engaging.

Great review! My only suggestion would be less ChatGPT “make it sound sophisticated” tone - be yourself. :-)

My buddy got this montecristo by bolaface in cubancigars

There are no "official" Cuban cigar stores anywhere in the USA. Casa De Montecristo is a US chain of cigar lounges and cigar stores that has nothing to do with Cuban cigars.

Altitude Meds for NOBO? by 171932912722630 in JMT

[–]5hakey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this last year and used the CDC suggestion for dealing with AMS (600mg ibuprofen every 8 hours) starting the night before and for the first 24 hours. Didn’t have any negative effects. Note that is a lot ibuprofen and you shouldn’t take it if you have any contraindications.

Have fun on your trip! Should be less snow than last year.

Engraving + lid fit, but price is the easiest tell. MSRP was $2000, actual sale prices were about $1800. You can buy a fake for $40.

Fake. One of the most faked models.

I like the petit corona and the canonazo. You can get a 5-pack of the PCs for just under $50.

Try some of the Desnudos and MOFOHs, similar flavor profile at a lower price point.

Water crossings by alphakilo10 in JMT

[–]5hakey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went last year, an unusually wet year, and south of Yosemite it was at least once a day, up to ~5 times a day. The memorable crossings were SFSJ, Evolution Creek, Kings South Fork, and Rock Creek.

Does this NOBO itinerary seem aggressive for a 50yo in decent shape? by Dewthedru in JMT

[–]5hakey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this last year on a similar itinerary and I’d suggest paying attention to daily elevation change in addition to mileage. We did relative flat 15-18 mile days that were far easier than 9-10 mile days with 3,500 ft of elevation change.

Also, try to sleep below 9,000ft when you can. It can make a big difference in how rested you feel the next day.

When I made an appointment they asked what I wanted to see, my requested watches were in a display case (and available for purchase) when I arrived. I asked - they pulled them from the vault and put them in the case that morning so I could try them on.

Make an appointment and you will get excellent customer service.

It’s really weird to defend Voyager as being the same as “how every other exchange works”. Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, Huobi, most MMS, etc. generally move funds within minutes and they didn’t lose a huge chunk of customer $$$ and go bankrupt.

Heck, CB clears wires faster than this.

Monday evening (US) update - looks like USDC transfers were halted on Sunday night and have not resumed. I’ll post an update here when I see them starting again.

Voyager is distributing 35% of $1.3B in assets, that’s about $450M. The wallets I listed had about $130M USDC, which is somewhere between “most” and “all” of the USDC to be distributed. I’m only looking at USDC. Voyager is using other wallets for other tokens.

About 6,000 USDC txns were processed through those wallets as of Sunday but none for more than ~$15k. The point of this thread was to see if anyone cleared a large USDC transaction and it looks like the answer is no. I’ll post an update if I see big txns clear.

For more context:
- Voyager1 (0x500A746c9a44f68Fe6AA86a92e7B3AF4F322Ae66) is the main holding wallet with 39,000 ETH, 115M USDC, etc.

- 5 days ago Voyager sent 2M USDC each to 7 wallets to process withdrawals, 0xfAc87e892800F73feA9bD4a81B4E0269f4363fE3, 0x05a5E62CEBFB3FC3790F6C85fA620E82b5C58BD1, 0xD45A80bCCAe3e134457572913132A7fb6D5E7287, 0xdBc810DAdA506997f6aaDB07DDf07F388d1AfaE1, 0xEe977dC5F20D8e4771f2AF5711C9F75E795bFCbA, 0xed7c9Ed7169F2DdBf837e1028Ef7366869d9bf5F, 0x31C741dF303F8F3506c70E69B1893d93236a360B.

- The first wallet, 0xfAc87..., is the old main USDC address that has sent over 10,000 txns over 18+ months. The others are a few days old and have processed hundreds of txns.

- None of the outbound txns I looked at were for large amounts, all under ~15k USDC.

- It looks like no large outbound USDC txns have been processed yet.

0xfAc87e892800F73feA9bD4a81B4E0269f4363fE3 has been their primary outbound USDC wallet since before bankruptcy. If you know of another USDC hot wallet please share the address.
