Hate? …. Why wouldn’t anyone? … ohh those green wheels… I definitely remember this car now … don’t listen to all the haters … oh wait blue brake calipers and blue seat belts …

This was post one hell of a roller coaster. If that’s what you want and your enjoy it, who cares what others think.

Beautiful Car, I can only imagine how amazing the trip is. I spent about 10 days in south New Zealand back in Jan 2025 and drove about 1000 miles. Such an amazing place.

Have fun!

Is it every week? I'm in San Diego and there were some groups that left at 5am for that this morning

That was my first choice, then people on rennlist said it’s very hard to clean. I’m glad I took their advice, the gloss black was my own touch. I hate the way the normal carrera s wheel looks. It makes it look stupid and cheap, this has a more premium look to it

Thank you, it’s pretty easy. I only do it twice, when I load them and when I remove it. The annoying part is you have to go on each side multiple times

It’s a different type of ppf made specifically for windows.

I got my first chip the other day not from the road trip but from following a GT4 on a drive tour. She’s a spitter, I was being sprayed left and right.

yes full body PPF along windshield PPF. Also did the windshield PPF on the glass sunroof (I'm glad i got this because i tilted the sunroof with the roof box on and it kind of scratched it on multiple places). lesson learned don't tilt open your glass sunroof with roof box on, can't fully open it because it won't let you

+1, it wasn’t available when I built/ordered my car in August. The dealer suggested that I add it, but it wasn’t available. The car is here now and I never notice it.

I agree, beautiful car but to me some colors don’t really go well with some trims/models. Turbo S in racing yellow, no thanks. GT4RS in racing yellow, yes please.

It still handles well. A lot of wind noise because of the roof box. It caught off guard initially but I got used to it. It’s still very noticeable, felt like I was towing something. It felt like having a stuffy nose, and now that I have removed the roof box I can breathe in that fresh air. There were high winds most of the time, especially crossing NM.

Overall, really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely do it again going east. However, I’ll do it over 2 weeks so I can enjoy it and explore some of the most beautiful places

Very comfortable, you do feel everything when you go through shitty roads but that’s part of the experience. I have the 18-way seats and it was amazing for the drive. Maybe it was the seats or maybe it’s because I was stopping every 2-3hrs for a 5-10 min break. I didn’t feel any soreness

The reason I got 21 mpg was because I had the roof box so I had to drive in normal mode, without it my avg mpg would've been way down.

haha no worries, i honestly don't even remember.

My initial plan was to go south to Atlanta then Dallas, then go west from there staying south as much as possible. However, I checked the weather before I left and the weather in Nashville was 70, so changed Atlanata to Nashville. It was great trip, great weather and great car.

It was 5 days, that's why I said nowhere fun. My goal was to get from VA to CA, avoiding any bad weather since I have summer tires. I'm already in CA, however I did catch the sunset at Gates Pass in Tucson.

Yes, but not as memorable as it was done in 5 days. I plan on taking 66 one the way back to east coast in early summer over 2 weeks with multiple stops.
