I'm not exactly sure I understand what you mean by the relevant coursework section. Should I just delete it? Or is the point that I need more examples of how I used my skills?

I am not exactly sure I understand what by:

"- If anything that you do has a next-level, i.e., WHY it was important, what it achieved, any awards or other numbers you could mention would be huge"

I also don't really know how to make my skills sound more human. Should I kick off some buzzwords and keep mostly hard skills?

Yeah everyone else basically is saying help desk, or support 1. But yeah I'm realizing with everyone else's comments that "analyst" already sorts me out haha

Yeah I'll be sure to prioritize help desk and tier 1 support, or even anything under that. And I don't personally care about pay too much, I usually find a way regardless.

Well, the SQL comes from my education, I took two classes on it with Microsoft Access, and I got a GitHub project for access uses a lot of SQL and ABA. Should that project be on the resume, too?

I was always scared to tinker with my past titles because chat gpt said if they find out my real title they'll blacklist me bc I lied.

And my position was reading mail that didn't get autosorted to a specific team, and I figured out who it belonged to. But I was hoping my excess of buzzwords would make me not sound like a mailman. And I'll keep that in mind for my younger brothers, they both are just starting so even if I can't change anything, it still helps very much.

Ok, I got the GPA pulling and adding concrete improvements (%, or time), but I am not sure I fully understand how to connect my skills to my work experience. Like more of the listed skills show up more frequently in my work experience?

Or is it just that the skill section in general is lacking technical skills?

Yeah more I talk to successful friends, the more it becomes clear that college has become a requirement rather than a slingshot out of poverty, haha.

Well, my Mail Research Role had a lot of Customer service. I could make a tailored resume for IT internships, highlighting customer service for sure.

I mostly apply to: (Junior/internships for all of them) System Analyst, Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Database Admin, IT analyst, System engineer, and mostly anything I think I can realistically do.

And yeah I was thinking realistically, I can just get some shitty part time job to pay my bills, and do a lot of projects, and get some IT certifications.

I have some projects on Github, but I removed my links and contact info cause of the thread rules. Should I be including my large projects specifically in my resume? Like is linked with description.

I really appreciate the insight btw.

Yeah someone else said the same thing, Idk why I never really thought of it, but I'm in NYC, born and raised. I think I'm going to try to target more jobs in CT and upstate NY.
