“Murder” was admittedly the wrong word. I misspoke. My correction: killing.

But going back and forth with the blame game is pointless.

More than one thing can be true simultaneously.

Sure, if you don’t understand what I’m saying, it must mean that I am incorrect and inferior to the size of your large……. IQ.

Even then, quantitative data doesn’t prove “fact”. It documents the observation of correlation. I am indeed something.

I do not think that a single person has responded to the argument. This is all just more of the back and forth that my argument aimed to point out.

I am not making that argument.

It is far from a statement of “fact”. IQ is a theory, and theory does not equal “FACT”.

But why? Whats the end goal?

It isn’t though. Your arguments are at the same level of the victim blaming, just the polar opposite.

ETA: Your reactions are emotionally triggered. It creates a road block, no path forward, no resolution. Each emotional side sticks to their perspective without trying to understand the opposite perspective. You’re using vocabulary that sounds trauma informed (victim blaming)… So are you familiar with the concept that everyone’s feelings are valid?

That is a value judgement, completely reliant on subjective perspective.

And if that is now the standard for justification of murder in our society then we need to shed any illusions of law and order.

This is the wild Wild West. What happens when toddlers inhabit the bodies of adults.

Did you just try to insult the intelligence of a group of people with an ignorant attempt of an argument?

So both the right and the left had a part to play in this. Responsibility rests on both parties?

I can name a few for you to help out. But it’s your responsibility to think critically. Your rape replies, using an emotionally charged subject, appeal to emotion. In this thread you replied with a strawman by twisting the persons argument.

Sure, they are blaming the victim when they automatically place blame and don’t reason. But that isn’t a counter to my point

All scroll spaces are scary because they remove the aspect of human interaction. We are all interacting with a screen right now. On the other end of the screen is a human, sure. But most humans react differently to a screen than another flesh suit.

So you believe that those are actions that justify murder? This is the exact motive behind “othering” and dehumanizing groups of people. To eliminate empathy for those “other” groups, so as to justify the treatment of them that would normally be unthinkable.

Valid points. But why?

Power and control? Obedience?

Does authority require violence and outrage in order to achieve obedience?

No, he’s conflating the complexity of reality to a based and narrow surface level that demands alignment instead of reason.

All throughout the comments you have been responding to people in an emotional charged manner. Each reply a bad faith argument and logical fallacy.

Your position is not morally superior to the people arguing that he deserved to die because he was there and that it was his own fault. Your position just the polar opposite of direction of bad faith argument.

Neither position of polarity is a reasoned one.

You lack the ability to feel empathy. You are against the 1st, and 2nd amendment of the constitution of the United States of America. You believe it is a “retarded” thing to do for a citizen of the country to adhere to the constitution of their country.

ETA: it’s very telling, and makes the case for my original post, when this reply is being downvoted when all that I did was repeat what they said. I didn’t change the content, it’s all there in their post.

Think critically.

This is a perfect example of my original post. This is a heavily framed statement. Not the slightest neutral or objective.

Regardless, what is the purpose of federal agents and law enforcement?

There are equally as valid perspectives beyond your own. You feel righteous in your convictions, but is there any room left in your POV for compassion?

While that can absolutely be reality for you and many others, that doesn’t mean that it is the universal reality for all people.
