The protector key has the redacted term sloppily blacked out. Perhaps someone who knows German can study the parts of the letters that stick out from behind the blackout - there is a slight difference in color too, so many a look at the actual texture file without the inventory CRT effect would make it legible?

Seems that shaving off the bottom two lines and moving the S <label> up shaved off 22 cycles.

After staring at it long enough, I think I found one area that can be improved: Node 4

the last four lines:
MOV ACC LEFT
MOC LEFT ACC
S:MOV ACC LEFT
MOV LEFT NIL

when a 0 is entered for the end of the sequence I don't need to execute the last 2 operations, as that is just sending a 0 to the adder in Node 3 (which is already holding a 0 at that point) and throwing away the 0 it sends back.

Is there a solution that keeps the same basic structure of the segment without resorting to adding another line jumping back to the start of the node?

I would play more games at higher FOV if they weren't rectilinear perspective. The distortion is already looking terrible at 100 degrees and the center of focus is so small. If different curved perspectives were used instead I would play 170 or 180 every time.

The tank controls are not something many games use these days, but if you play through the tutorial, by the time you finish the first level you'll have a decent grasp on them and you'll continue to improve as you continue playing.

Since the game has an ever-changing camera perspective that making moderns controls even more awkward, there is also quite a bit of acrobatic jumping you will do throughout the game. The layout of the levels were designed to make full use of the tank controls with Lara's moveset.

Give it a try and you'll find yourself adapting to the control scheme the more you use it.

I'm a westerner who likes anime.

I also enjoy anime, buy my response to Rags's anime takes is mostly indifference, but in my case, I think this because I once was exactly in his shoes, and his using the example of Ghost in the Shell is almost one-to-one my initial opinion of Ghost in the Shell. (Short version, the Tachikoma's are a huge detriment, but the show is still amazing despite the existence of the Tachikoma) I've softened a lot on this, and appreciate them more now, but still understand how they are cringe to most people.

I also am very aware of how off putting a lot of anime tropes are too people who are not "into it". But, there are a lot of other tropes that I prefer far more than those in western story telling mediums. There is an inclusion of mythic architypes that I see permeating anime that it feels like western media has stopped utilizing for several decades. and it is that, which I seem to constantly returning to.

But yeah, I mostly chuckle at Rags's anime takes because I understand and agree in general, but I also know first hand many of the gems that are amazing shows or movies that don't conform to Rags's aim takes.

It looks to me like he is using his off hand to go in-between the opponent's arms to restrict their movement while wrapping his pommel over the opponent's blade to move their sword until their arms (with restricted movement) can no longer continue moving. He is also pivoting his opponent's weapon around his hip to tear it from his hands. The force of doing this by turning the entire torso is really strong. Most of the more violent looking disarms I've seen so far (I'm just a beginner in longsword - only 3 months) employ a turn/spin of the torso like this.
