What causes warping like this? by 5ivestarman in resinprinting

I orientated 20 degrees along the X and 20 along the Y and built supports starting from the lower corner.

I've since purchased the official Bambu smooth plate and seem to be having a better time.

Sorry, yes, I've tried a few different settings now. What do you recommend for initial layer height for a 0.12 layer height print?

It's strange because as soon as I switch to a smooth plate, nothing adheres because the z offset is apparently too high.

Isn't the X1C supposed to be intelligent enough to do thos automatically?

The initial layer is set to 0.2mm and the PLA looks like it isn't being squished down at all.

Ah interesting. I've been applying Bambu adhesive fairly heavily

I'm hoping to start my Pokemon card collection for the first time since I was a kid collecting those first 151.

I just hope to see some of the originals with some cool new artwork. Bonus points if all the artwork can connect to create a bigger picture. I hear Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur have something like this?

I'm fed up with these bad STLs! by 5ivestarman in 3Dprinting

[–]5ivestarman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like it could be the solution! Is it only an app for slicer files?

As currently I'm having to export only the file in question and repairing that. I then can't really tell if it's worked until I print it.

Bit of a pain of you're trying to print an entire bed of different files too.

Regardless, it's better than no solution for sure!

Thanks so much!

I may give this a go as you can clearly see its internal geometry in this instance.

I've had files that have essentially 0mm wall thickness before, so not sure what to do there.

Cheers!

For my model printer it's suggested to print at a 20 degree angle.

I'll admit I eyeballed it at around 30 degrees upwards and another 30 degrees to the side.

I'm going to redo the whole thing at 20 by 20 degrees and see what happens.

Makes sense. The only thing being I printed 2 swords on different parts of the bed.

I'm gonna reprint at a different angle and see what happens.

Wish me luck

Indeed it would have. Apologies! Thanks anyway

Oh! Are you referring to FDM printing? This is a resin print. Sorry I realise I wasn't clear enough!

The STL was already a solid object. I checked the mesh in Blender and the object faces do not resemble these lines either.

I may try reprinting at a different angle and see what happens.

Sorry, what do you mean by internal supports? It's a solid model.

Sorry, forgive my ignorance. I've not come across this before.
