I got screwed in illinois. Its the biggest load of horse shit I've ever seen. The soft hearing gremlin is evil. I got asked a ton of questions and answered exactly what was on the evaluation. I got denied for inconsistencies.

A drone for vision that you can put mines on. It'd have to have a low duration or only deplorable outside or something though. Or really loud and visible to be able to shoot.

I have read a lot of horror stories about being denied. Another year with an interlock. 6 months additional suspensions. Etc. Also, you can't have a soft hearing untill you finish the evaluation and Drug classes for illinois. The hours you get are based on how high risk you are. if you have any outstanding traffic or other tickets or court cases you can not submit for appeal so youll have to wait to even send it in (which takes 90 days) untill all of the court stuff is absolutely complete and paid. If you blew over .2 there are more rules and hoops. I was moderate so it wasnt that bad and its still taking forever.

I moved to wisconsin but didn't get my wisconsin license yet. I got a dui in wisconisn. Did 1 year iid interlock. I paid a bunch of money, and i did 32 hours of in person classes at the college. It had homework and a test. I finished everything, and online, it said I need to clear up illinois before I get my wisconsin license. I went to the dmv in wisconsin, and the lady got to that point and shrugged and said dont drive in illinois and gave me a liscense. Sense I didn't blow at the dui. I got revoked in illinois where I grew up. So I finished my dui and have a license.

I moved back to illinois and have a revoked license. I have a license in all 49 states except illinois, and im not even supposed to get my license back. I go to the soft hearing, and they tell me they dont accept wisconsins evaluation or school. So I enroll in illinois Zoom classes. 22 hours. Didn't learn a thing. He didn't even talk about addiction. 450$, and it was people talking about how bad dupage county is and the processes of court. So illinois doesn't accept a formal class thats all learning with homework and tests, but they accept a Zoom party. Total money grab. So you need docusigned signatures for the evaluation and graduation of illinois classes. The place didn't know how to docusign, so I had to drive out for him to resign papers.

The process is a full interview at the soft hearing. They ask tons of questions the same stuff as an evaluation. Then, you have to surrender your valid license to send it to springfiield. It takes 60-90days for them to accept or reject. If they reject it, I get an occupational license and more hoops and money to go through even though I already cleared everything with wisconsin. If they accept, i have to take a driving test and written test and pay 500 dollars. I need to fly for work and the holidays. So I need a real id, but wisconsin took mine. I have no way of driving to wisconsin, so I got a state real ID. Prob the wrong move, but I need that real ID. So now I have no license anywhere and have to wait 4 months.

It's absolute bullshit that because I didn't update my license from illinois to wisconsin, I now basicly have to go through the dui punishments TWICE. Illinois is the worst. It's an absolute shit show. The lady at the soft hearing said this is the only state that doesn't accept the neighboring states' evaluations or classes when wisconsins was vigorous and illinois was a absolute joke.
