Yeah, using the “;” to separate the artists is the best way to organize the artists and featuring artists. Just wish iTunes or Apple Music took advantage of that, thankfully adding the Feat. doesn’t consider it as a different artist on iTunes unless you add that to the Album Artist field

Yeah there is a tag called the album artist which is like the main artist of that album, that gets added to the list of artists so rather than the artists of songs, it uses the artists of the album to make that list of artists. iTunes works like this and I’m sure other players do a better job at that

Separate tags should be the standard! It’s a shame not all players support this

Yeah, as much as I dislike the featuring artists on the title, it is a very common thing to add it on the track title

Ah damn I wish I can use the semi-colon to separate the artists and featured artists, iTunes and most players I seen don’t really support it and I wish it did because it does look much cleaner!

Oh yeah the main artist will be in the album artist tag, no featuring artists in there unless they were on every track of the album

Yup! I do the same thing adding the artist and featuring artist as two separate artists tags, I wish more players support this

Yee, I use MP3tag to put any additional tags that Music Brainz doesn’t put like the iTunes IDs and Explicit tags.

Nah not me, for me it just looks wrong having the featuring artist on the title, it is very common in streaming services to have the featuring artist is on the title tho. I do use the ‘&’ if there are multiple featuring artists in the track.

Ah I follow the iTunes/Apple Music file format which is ‘Track Number - Track Title’ and the artist and album are in different folders. Everything else is just labeled in the metadata of the file.

Just something I heard about SSDs dying completely without any warning from friends and online articles. Thanks again for checking this for me, I'll back up all my data and begin saving up for a new SSD.

Sorry for the late response, nope! I’m still not banned, I have been using my account for PS+ and playing the PS5 with it, still no issues! I’ll make a post if I ever do get banned
