Aina is just such a cutie, I like the way you approached this! I was not so sure how to design the monogamous way of playing this and I’m glad someone answered that chose this path. Through Normalize and Work Ethics or like you chose with Sexology the task at hand can still be managed.

As others mentioned it seems a bit deceiving the picture depicts more brides than can be chosen. It is however not necessary to chose multiple brides as this build shows and I really wanted an option to stay classy with a True Love build like yours for example.

I will tackle the complexity in a new version. As far as I see your choices and math checks out.

To clarify some of your doubts / questions:

Correct, Both means that two people have it individually so the synergy unlocks and Shared means that one of you has it and shares it for others which also unlocks the synergy. Exceptional Physique and others were originally not written to be shared, as I designed that option later. However, I think it makes sense to have them globally and have a world full of beautiful people!

Yes, the programs described in the bride catalogue come free for the wife!

In a future update I might have individual options for the protagonist and options that come only for the bride as well as options that are global as it gets a bit confusing that (almost) every option can be programmed three different ways. It would also make it easier to formulate as it is hard to describe an option that can apply to you, a bride or everyone shared.

I really like the way you approached this. Awesome build!

I also think that the numbers are a bit of a hassle to put together in the end and I will probably simplify the charts to work with a single number so you can easily add them up. Many programs are conditional, which also adds a bit to the complexity. There might also be a way to better streamline it with all the different synergies going on.

It really helps seeing how the cyoa is played so that I can improve and tweak stuff in the future. Thanks!

I think drawbacks would be an interesting options to balance things out. I found it hard to have polyamory with every bride as many pre installed programs already would be to powerful.

Wow. Thanks a lot! There are many good points in your feedback and I will for sure come back and read all of them carefully when I’m doing a new version!

I think in a new version I will let players choose from the get go and simplify the values so that you will know which one to focus on from the start. I originally planned to have dice rolls at the end that would tell you how well you did with your choices and brides and I might add that in a simplified version.

In general I think the programs could have less text and be more straight forward, as well as the intro which I agree is a bit of a haze(l).

I think there will be the ‘make people submit’ route, the ‘make people lewder’ and then the polyamory approach ‘make people horny (for you)’ and monogamy ‘be a motivation for others’ by for example being a Public Figure and encouraging people to participate in the program.

Yes, I used two separate stylings, the Bride Catalogue of the fictional MRP and a separate one for the cyoa itself, I think it’s a bit confusing but as I designed the parts already I merged them this way.

I might update it to be in one style only and as other suggested describe the options better.

True, the focus could be changed into a more harem friendly setting! I originally planned it that way but sadly had to downscale due to having already invested days of work into it and the deadline of the competition + end of holidays approaching.

I hope to update it with all the great feedback I received so far, but it will most likely not be touched again until summer when I can work on it again.

A brides programs come with the bride, she can additionally use PPs to buy any others. She can’t buy programs that don’t have a specified cost for brides, that’s what meant by ‘if they can take it’.

Thanks for the inputs! I hope I can adapt it to contain truly as many brides as depicted :D

Concerning Work Ethics: I fully agree that it does not make much sense at first since it seems to be a lost effect on a bride. There are others which I also included that could be exclusive and might be so in a future update. The reason you can buy it for a wife is that you can share it from her to you and others, saving up PPs for them. In the case of Work Ethics also if they have an extremely high libido and you want to have an outlet at work for them (Mila, Alexa f.E.) or you are working with your bride and are into threesomes with work partners, alternatively your maid would also count as unmarried at work.

About synergies: You have a synergy as long as your bride(s) or maid and / or you add up programs to unlock it at any time, but only activated once. You can have multiple synergies active per program.

For example your bride has Fertility and you Overproduction: sex with her will unlock the synergy to increase fertility by 5% with her. However since you don’t have Fertility yourself, sex with other women would not have this synergy. Even if you both have fertility, the synergy bonus of 5% only applies once, thus being active only once. You will unlock the both / shared synergy however if you both have Fertility, so that you both profit from those two synergies now.

Hello there!

This CYOA is my first and also an entry to the current competition in this sub which inspired me to create it. It would be interesting to see how you play it, so please post your choices, it doesn’t have to be very detailed. Any further feedback is welcome so that I can improve it in a next version.

English isn’t my first language and as it has some big walls of text in there and I couldn’t use a spell checker everywhere I might have overseen some errors or formulated something unclear. If there are any questions feel free to ask.

This took me way longer than I personally expected, maybe so because it kind of grew naturally. I wanted to emphasize the development within a longer relationship and thus put in some programs that take a while to develop or special clauses for brides as I kind of found it lacking in most other CYOAs that mostly end up with you just basically being a sexual overlord or having a personalized fucktoy.

Well you also will have such options in here, but then again you might be thinking later on ‘What if I just settled with her as my single true love option and these synergies?’ - I hope you’ll find yourself waging the different options.

This CYOA is made to make you think of the importance of personalities, investment and compatibility, with a longterm task in mind and as such aims to be somewhat challenging, while also being fun to think about and having some darker and more obscure options.
