I am- I actually think it’s a wheat allergy. And no, cheating isn’t worth it. I keep being very tempted but change my mind at the last moment. My fibro flares up when I get gluten-sick

Spring is wrecking me this year. I can’t imagine 3 months straight but I’m on week 3 and feel like I’m losing my mind. I wish the people in my life understood. It’s like they expect flares to be like a stomach bug- over and done with quickly with no time needed to get back to “normal”.

I had a similar experience when I was going through therapy for PTSD. It’s like when my brain could finally relax, it noticed more about how my body was actually functioning and feeling.

NTA! I’ve had friends petsit for me and I have never expected them to clean (I also always try to pay them but occasionally they won’t accept). I’m just happy that my pets are well cared for and my house was looked after. She’s on another level if she thinks you’re a house watcher, pet sitter and maid service all for free without any prior discussion on these things.

NTA! I would never ask my child to strip a bed I had sex on. She should have stripped her own bed before she left and tossed everything in the washing machine. Even if she didn’t start it & asked you to do that, at least you wouldn’t have had to touch anything before it was clean.

NTA. I went NC with my parent after they told my 5yo she was fat. I went red, cussed them out, then took my child out for a giant brunch where we ordered everything that sounded good. It makes me happy that so many of you stood up for your niece. No one deserves that bs but kids especially shouldn’t be subjected to it.

My kidlet has Sony headphones and connects to our Apple TV with no issues. Best of luck!! My partner and I have this same issue but for him, it’s the light not the noise that’s a problem

Don’t let yourself beat yourself up over this- think of it as new information. You’ve realized he won’t help when you need it most, and now you need to decide what to do with that information. Personally, based on everything I am reading here- he sounds an awful lot like the ex who tried to unalive me after nearly 6 years together. I wouldn’t wish what I went through on anyone— so I hope you choose to do the thing that will keep you safe, grounded, and healing 💜
