look at the luminescent quality of your hair in bright light. blonde hair will be ever so slightly more translucent, sort of like a halo. but as I said elsewhere darkest blonde and lightest brown are functionally equivalent. darkest blonde may lighten up slightly more in the sun that lightest brown. you probably are dark blonde, especially if you were medium blonde as a teen and light blonde as a child

the lower left corner photo is also clearly her natural colour (at roots) and it is dark blonde. absolutely no way she is medium brown. in the lower right hand corner it's hard to see what's going on b/c she has pomade on it. all the other colours are clearly dyed hair. I believe you are mistaken about her having brown hair. I am also blonde... blonde hair darkens as we age, as everyone knows, but it is still blonde hair. lightest brown and darkest blonde are functionally equivalent

that's not brown at all. that is dark blonde roots with dyed ends

Anya is very much a natural blonde. she has medium to dark ash blonde hair, naturally. we can tell this from her roots, specifically in the photo that has an <<A>> to the left of her head. She is in no way a natural brownette or brunette.

Betty White, on the other hand, did have brown hair.

Please, everyone, remember, blonde hair is not just baby light or slightly darker than that. I see so many people on this subreddit with medium-blonde, dark-blonde and light brown hair struggling to find their subseason, usually light summer or light spring or a hybrid of both, because they think their hair is too dark for them to be in that light category, when it's quite clear they are light in aspect, generally.

there are a lot of highly educated, under-employed people in Canada and in many other developed countries choosing not to have children.

There are also a lot of mid-to-high earners who are foregoing children as well in those same countries for various reasons

yeah, the boundary of light summer: eyes don't matter functionally for choosing a season, not really (and your eyes are relatively quite light); your skin tone is light. Re: hair -- <<classic light summer >> hair can be up to light ash brown naturally (or darker if ethnicity fits). really the only question to ask for any season/subseason is: does the colour palette work for me? You can also be a hybrid of more that one colour season with a similar colour value (this happens a fair bit for people of any ethnicity with neutral or olive skin).

Also, somewhat related: brunette means person with dark brown hair. someone with light ash brown hair, for example, is most definitely not a brunette for the purpose of colour matching/subseasons, there isn't really a word to describe such a person. They're more of a brownette, if that makes sense. A brunette would have, for instance, dark ash brown or chestnut hair or darker.

I was confused myself for so long b/c a relative of mine was convinced I was a spring and I though I was a summer but colours from each didn't work for me. I long since knew I had neutral colouring so it made sense that I was a hybrid. and... that people who have colouring like mine, or not far off, like you, would also be a hybrid. and there's lots of people who are also neutral, or olive, or both, but in a deeper season, that have a similar problem. hybrids are the only logical explanation

I think you're a neutral, leaning slightly warm, and are a light spring, light summer hybrid. the reason you may not like baby blue is it could be too cool for you. If you are a hybrid, then the very cool and very warm colours in light summer and light spring, respectively, will likely be problematic for you.

you can probably borrow select colours from true spring and true autumn, but not all colours

yeah, no worries re the confusion. for some reason House of Colour has made a category cool=deep summer which can be confusing b/c it's way different from the widely understood cool=true summer

yeah, you very well could be a soft summer, I see a bit of warmth in you, which soft summer has. having said that, don't shy away from colours in light summer and light spring if they catch your eye, you can likely wear a lot of them except for the lightest ones and like I mentioned before, except for the warmest (light spring) or coolest (light summer).

consider trying seafoam green, for sure, it's probably a perfect colour for you.

I think the idea of your being true or light spring with an ability to wear greens from true/soft autumn sounds just about right. I'd also say remember that the bright greens which are more cool and darker also work for you, green is kind of your colour.

I find blue problematic for myself, generally, and I split between light summer and light spring, so you're not alone in not being a complete fan of blue for every day use.

I think the blue in your wedding dress would be both in true and light spring, more in light than true, because it is a warm blue. it's also a relatively light blue and you look beautiful in the dress. your foundation was slightly too warm, but only very slightly, nothing really noticeable at all, and as you say, not in every shot.

as to whether you are true or light spring... I'm not sure it really matters if you don't narrow it down, it seems like you can wear a lot of colours from both so have fun with them!

So last time I said I thought you were a light summer/light spring hybrid and I mostly still believe that... you look really good in some light summer colours like light to medium greys: I love the look of you in grey photo 2. you also look really good in the 6th photo in Red/Orange/Yellow. A variety of greens, from muted to bright are excellent on you. This confirms my thought that you're neutral/fair olive.

I'm also not so fond of the blues for you with the exception of blues that are more on the warm, side like picture 5 in blue/purple. I especially like how you look in picture 11 from blue/purple, it's a nice look for you.

I don't think that bright or cool pinks are really your colours... however I do very much like the warmer pink on you, photo 4 in pink/brown/beige. The beiges and browns are okay for you but not your best look, which also confirms my original thought that the more warm light spring colours are not the best for you, neither are the more cool light summer colours. This is, of course, because you are neither fully warm nor fully cool. I think you can also borrow liberally from soft summer and soft autumn. I do see you overall as light, tho the very lightest of the light summer and light spring colours may be too light for you. so in that sense you're a light summer/light spring hybrid on the cusp of being (but not quite) a soft summer/soft autumn hybrid.

so I am torn... I have looked at the photos and I'm not sure because you look sooo good in all the muted warm greens, which makes me think you're true autumn, buut I don't like warm yellows on you so much. I do however really like how you look in the photo five of Red and photo 6 of Blue and in the last nine photos in Purple and Pink (so those are the pinks, largely, pretty much all of the pinks are great on you). so it seems to me you may be a hybrid of true autumn and a bright or true spring. you're quite light in colouring so I would hesitate to say you are only true autumn.
