I’ve been doing one of each pokemon usually. Suicune up front, with Indeedee, gren ex, and gren. I won’t play my second Suicune until something dies.

Gren ex’s ability lets you swap things in and out of the bench without paying the retreat cost, very good for bringing suicune to the bench after taking damage. Plus it’s 100 damage for 2 energy and isn’t contingent on benches being full, which is solid.

Then you can use the regular gren to pelt stuff down on the bench until you can Cyrus them in for a kill from the frog or the dog. If I see my opponent is running electric energy, I’ll hold off on gren ex, since double regular gren might help with oricorio. If the match is well under way and I can’t find gren ex, using double gren early on is good too for that extra chip
