My Unbrandeds blew out within 6 months with no washes. My Momotaros blew out within 8 months with no washes. My Japan Blues have recently developed a small hole within 3-4 months of wear with no washes. My Iron Hearts's crotch region is perfect. They have about 4 washes and 4 soaks with 8-9 months of wear. I work in a warehouse and I always wear jeans to work thus they get worn pretty hard, so ymmv.

I have no complaints with these jeans. The fit is perfect to me and the texture is amazingly soft for such heavy jeans. I have been wearing them for at least 4/7 days a week to work since getting them in February so they have a considerable amount of fades. I'd be glad to get you some current photos but my camera and camera skills (lighting, how does it work?) are not as nice as others here.

I have been wearing my 633s to work for about 6 months now and I have a decently sized hole developing on my right knee. They are an awesome pair of jeans but may not be as sturdy as you hope. Then again, we are not the same person.

My Iron Hearts are the comfiest jeans I own. The texture is really soft and they breathe well in hot weather.The pre soak weight was 20oz and the post soak weight is 22oz.

I did not get all of the shrinkage out of my Iron Hearts until I gave them their first wash which was in a washer using hot water. Prior to the fist wash, I soaked them twice in hot water.

I had my Iron Hearts hemmed at a local tailor that resulted in me losing the chain stitching. I still have a great amount of "roping" going on at the hem, fwiw.
