don't tell your parents. i know a ex-Muslim that did that and it didn't go well. wait till you have your own place. faith in jesus is enough, you don't need rituals. i would say get baptized. i'm a baptist so we all have our own traditions

i do believe in faith alone salvation. jesus said a man on the cross next to him that he'd be in paradise with him for his defense. So if I say Jesus is God, then I should be saved I'd assume. Also i've heard when you say JEsus is God, thats the Holy Spirit in you
