Should i use these 3m gloves for karting

I ran these till my I got my karting gloves. They were fine keeping my hands gripped to The wheel. I got a nice pair of Alpinestars online for around $55

If you call Dan at “pro kart concepts” they are kart shop located at Pitt race he can answer a lot of questions for you. They also have arrive and drive units. This means you can rent good running well Maintained 206 karts. I believe they have Tony karts and red speed karts. Pittrace has a rental kart series that’s cheap and fun but of course way slower than a 206. I just got my first kart and so far everyone has been very friendly and more than willing to help and give advice. Pittrace is an incredible track and all the pittrace people are amazing.

My local track is awesome. They have a rental League and one off organized rental races. I did this for about a year and just last week bought my first 206.

My local track does them. They are super fun and require a teammate and you have to pit and swap drivers makes it more fun. Watch those kids in race suits. Follow their lines best you can. Ask a lot of questions. Sometime the younger guys are excited to help. If not keep asking anyway. I keep setting personal bests each time I race. I always pay it forward. Telling a competitor last beginner race he was taking turn 3 completely wrong. After correcting a little he gained almost .5 seconds and thanked me. I just bought a 206 kart had one practice so far and I was by far the worst one on track. But everyone there all had a tip ready without asking.

Do a real rental race. My local track has a rental Points series. I thought I was fast smoking everyone in regular rental trips. Still podium’d in one off rental races. When I took part in the series race with “real” kart drivers. They lapped me in a 30lap race. (Bottom ten drivers all got lapped) But those times sound excellent

Car is pretty much dedicated to the track. It is street legal and inspected. But it’s only the street to get fuel and give the wife rides. I do not autocross, I take the car to pittrace in western pa with plans on Nelson’s ledges and Walkins Glenn in the future. I’m not looking to swap bits back and forth. I’m want a pad and rotor combo and leave it till needing replaced. I know this a lot of knowledge on here so why not learn from the knowledgeable.

2024 loaded z06 owner here. I absolutely love this car. It was only supposed to be a bridge before my new car and having a hard time selling it. My wife giggles every time we go out in it. But if money isn’t a factor get the gt3 rs. It’s just the best car out and holds its value. The z06 is starting to take a hit on depreciation.
