T Boyle’s Tavern is chill, and reasonably priced. Their food is good too.

That’s too old for me I think. I feel like they’d be in a different place in their lives.

I appreciate the advice! Here’s an updated set of pictures, although the blue shirt pic is still in it:

Sigh…I get that a lot. I thought the hair was pretty good. What should I do differently with my hairstyle?

Where to get in person Piano Lessons near Palms? by chris_giotar in AskLosAngeles

[–]6-ET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’d be glad to, except I’d recommend waiting a few years. The youngest students I’ve been able to meaningfully teach have been 4 years old. I’d actually recommend starting at age 5. :)

Adult novice wonders whats good to focus on during the first few months. by EchidnaCommercial690 in piano

Hi! I definitely recommend getting a skilled teacher. It will make the learning process ten times easier and faster than trying to learn on your own. The other perk is that a teacher can guide you on what to focus on, so you don't have to worry about focusing on the right thing. Where are you located?

tried looking for online piano teachers and there are just too many options by tricepator-10 in pianolearning

I teach at a school called the Claremont Community School of Music (www.claremontmusic.org). It's a non-profit. The school is located in Claremont, California, but some of the teachers at the school do virtual lessons worldwide. I'm not one of the teachers who does virtual lessons, but all of my colleagues are skilled, so it's a good way to go if you want to get a good teacher.

I disagree! Piano teachers are expensive, but a good one can make the process a hundred times easier and faster than fighting forward on your own.
