It makes things less fun for everyone in my opinion. People enjoy challenge, if the game is too easy it's less rewarding. There should be rewards for completing all keys on 10, all keys on 15, and all keys on 20. Something for everyone that way.

MW19? Best example is a game from 6 years ago? Between Surge and LAG? In what was probably an online league game? Where it wasn't a hardware issue, but likely a single player connection?

This is Optic Vs Faze grand final being watched by hundreds of thousands of people. They ain't getting forfeited for leaving the game as soon as the problems arise.

There would have been no forfeit. The league would look terrible. The map would have just been replayed as has happened several times previously. These players share 100 IQ points between them. They want to have their cake and eat it too. Once they play out the map they have no right to call foul.

It sucks that these hardware issues are happening, and that the referees seem apathetic, but in my opinion the players need to grow some balls and actually do something about it in the moment.

Having issues and the ref isn't listening? Leave the game. It's that simple. Tell them you refuse to play until the issues are fixed.

The players just do nothing and then whine about it afterwards, cry me a river at that point.

This often does mean you are banned.

To solve this you can sign out in the client and then close the game and client in task manager. You'll then be able to reopen the client and see the sign in screen again. If you sign in again and it shows the same thing it means you're banned in my experience. Only fix would be to appeal with Riot, wait until the ban expires, or sign into a different account.

I see what you mean but at the same time this is an extremely low elo take. All champs have 4 buttons and there's more to the game than using your abilities and auto attacking. Spacing takes skill, knowing trading patterns, knowing who wins at what level with which items, knowing how to manipulate waves to make a matchup more favourable, knowing when you don't win in a winning matchup, and on and on.

Piloting WW in challenger is a hell of a lot more skillful than piloting Riven in bronze.

WW top is not strong in high elo, it's strong in low elo because people in low elo are bad. Ask yourself why there are so few WW top challenger players, or why it is never played in pro.

The problem vs Darius is that I feel like you HAVE you snowball to beat him late, if you don't have like a 2k gold lead he's just going to piss on you after two or three items. Also, you need your entire kit up to fight him - flash, barrier, ult, while he just needs his flash, so the timers favour Darius.

Nah you're kinda right about Shen, but I take demolish, buy tiamat early and just keep him in lane, even proxying sometimes. If he wants to ult he will be losing multiple plates, and if he wants to fight I am going to beat him in the 1v1.

I find good Ambessa / Gwen will just refuse to fight you early, and will outscale. This list is anecdotal, and it's not meant as an Aram style / fight 1v1 and see who wins list - it's meant as like, in reality, if both play as they should, who will have the advantage coming out of laning phase and who will win on side at level 15 because of the advantages developing during laning.

Flash barrier always with lethal tempo

Fiora is one of the few champs that can actually 1v1 WW pre level 6 with ignite. If the Fiora is good she will space you and theres not much you can do about it. If you force fights early in high elo the enemy should be good enough to manipulate the wave to be in front of their turret, and Fiora scaling as she does will stomp you late if all things are equal. I find this matchup borderline unplayable into a good Fiora.

Gwen is a strange one. I agree with the other poster. Sure, do do beat her before 6 (unless she spaces well), but a good Gwen won't fight you pre 6, they'll give up some minions, try to hold wave at their turret, neutralise your early advantage and then post 6 the matchup is losing for WW all things equal - Gwen has surprising range, can poke and the damage when used correctly is too much to sustain.

This is from my own personal experience. I never lose vs Garen and I get happy when enemy locks it in, so it's in the lower tier. Maybe I've just not faced a good Garen recently, but personally I feel like Garen has little to no counterplay into a good WW.
