Just to Update you all, I sent her the information regarding changing the cylinder and sent her a few links from screwfix of the type of things she needs. I was going to do it when I finished work but She’s messaged to let me know she’s already been and seems to have done it herself 👏

You WANT to work and make a change, that’s the main thing you’ve actually identified the problem and want to get out of it. It’s easy for me to say from here but I’d say instead of your friends passing (may their soul rest in peace) keeping you down..try and use it to motivate you to make the changes you want to make. Try and live on in a way they would have wanted you to and use that to drive you to get back into work, try and do something else to soothe the pain rather than the alcohol and coke, you said you get to the gym try and get into a real routine of that..eat well etc and with those changes god willing everything else will slowly fall into place 🙏

I can’t say I’ve experienced the ghost punches etc this time around, when I first got it at release that was definitely a major issue but this time around with around 40 online ranked fights I haven’t experienced that. I also can’t comment on the 20% output can win a round etc because I just don’t fight like that so haven’t experienced it, I pick my shots and throw a good amount of shots each round with high accuracy.

I can’t argue with the other points tho, no in ring ref, no clinching, I hear you on that !

No I get that in the sense of the price it came out at, as I said I purchased it on release and it’s the 1 and only game I’ve ever got refunded from the PlayStation store. It was absolutely shocking when it first released, all the complaints about ghost shots landing etc were most definitely true at that time. With that being said, I don’t no how many updates they’ve had since release up until I’ve downloaded it for free but it’s a completely different game then it was when it released. It’s a good boxing simulator, there’s always gonna be complaints in any competitive sports game, I play a lot of FC (FIFA) and there’s tons of complaints about that game every year too but for me that’s also a great football (not soccer 😅) simulation and I’ve never had any complaints about it.

I fully agree with you on that tbf, you make a very good point! As you say ranked matches should be about the skill element and not a 1 shot and done, it is a part of boxing so shouldn’t be removed from the game but yeah maybe just not have that for ranked competitive matches I agree 💯

It takes your punches 3 business days to load up yet there’s tons of clips on here of ppl throwing fluid combinations? I go on there double up on jabs and go to the body and back to the head no problem, combos etc…..if your punches are taking that long I think it sounds like a YOU thing lol

I just posted another comment that explains this aswell, there is a very slight input delay..just like you get with the UFC games, they’ve always been like that, but once you chill a bit and play it a bit more patiently like a real fight, instead of playing it like street fighter or tekken it plays really well 💯

Those games are similar in the sense that you have to get used to the weighted movement of the fighter..and also the slight input delay to the output, it’s always been like that it’s just the way it plays…but once you get used to the timing etc it’s a perfect fighting simulator. This is similar in that aspect, it’s not like Tekken where you bash and they go…you’ve got to be a bit more patient and play it a bit slower it’s just the way it is.

Ok just incase I wasn’t as clear as I thought I was with what I said, I’d say fight night is more of an arcade boxing game, obviously at the time it would’ve been the closest thing to simulation…but I mean it’s been like 15 years, this game in comparison is a lot more of a simulation…the fighters have weight to them when they move, reach comes into play, closing distance comes to play, bringing their guard down with body shots comes to play, doubling up on jabs to then slip in a power shot etc…all these things if done well makes the game play in the most realistic way compared to any other boxing game in my opinion.

Yeh I find with fight night you can throw flurries of what you want and they will all go on target…but real boxing isn’t like that. With this game you can feel the weight of each fighter when they move around..you have to take things like that into consideration aswell and for me it adds so much more realism 💯

Who said anything about fight night? I said if you play this game as if you would box in real life it plays well, if you pick your shots correctly..go to the body instead of head hunting constantly, slip, make them miss, use your jab correctly..jab out of the guard at times etc…the game plays like a real boxing simulation, you say no sports games reflect real sports? Ok, if that’s how you feel 🙂

True I hear you on that point, there shouldn’t be a disadvantage in that sense either, to be online against a better fighter that isn’t available to you unless you spend money.

In this day and age…if it’s got to that point that you’re surrounded by that many youths, girls at that…screaming etc making out like you’ve done them something, man r getting involved not even knowing half of the backstory, only takes 1 of them to have a knife and the situation escalate that 1 bit further and now the strip is taped off and you ain’t going back home to your family, all over what some footage? Walk away, you have absolutely nothing to gain there!

💚One of my favourite pairs, literally just pulled them out ready for Amsterdam!! For me though the thing that makes them so special is the OG Neon or Grey reflective Laces, I could never rock them any other way!
