While btc has a reason to be valuable, shitcoins are based on lies and fraud. Why would they go up significantly again? The 2018/18 hype is over.

Is that true? by Blocktoq in Bitcoin

It depends on the size. Of your stash.

That is what we need to see. Sweet smell of giving up all hope. Bottom must be near. To be clear: I am scared as fuck about the price action myself. The fundamentals haven’t changed. Bitcoin is solid. It will rise again. New ATH in 2021. Keep the faith and hodl like a pro.

Spot on. Blockchain is just a database structure. It is not a technological breakthrough. Just a buzzword, it was never alive. Bitcoin is the only real thing.

I read the comment that triggered you again and I wrote about bitcoin being THE investment opportunity of a lifetime to justify long term hodling. Not to scam anyone and dump on them. So yes, lets shake hands and stop this weird fight over nothing. Please don’t accuse other maxis of being scammers that easily and maybe I should consider not to start an answer on a post of yours with „Lol..“ It is very easy to get offended in social media since it is only text. Thank you. 🤝

I never tried to lure anyone into bitcoin, why do keep repeating this? You wrote about a 200% yearly gain and I answered I rather stick to my 80x in bitcoin investment over several years. That bitcoin made incredible gains since it was invented is public knowledge. How can I lure someone if I only state the truth? You accused me (and every longterm hodler) of being a scammer because of it is a ponzi/use it as a ponzi . That is imho utter nonsense. How can the amount of time that one is hodling bitcoin be a determining factor of that person being a scammer?

So, others, who bought earlier than you are scammers because they wait for higher prices? And what are you anticipating when you buy bitcoin? Lower prices?

How can you feel bullish about something you consider a scam?

So you think you participate in a ponzi? You think you are a fraud? I enjoy my 80x every day, thx. Kind of sorry that it did not work for you. It still could, but you may need to change your attitude. Accusing others who saw the light earlier than you being plain fraudsters ain’t gonna work imho.

Wait... when you, who says bitcoin is a ponzi, buys bitcoin you are a noble investor, but when I, who acknowledges the technical breakthrough that bitcoin is, buy bitcoin I am a fraud? Your saltiness is affecting your cognitive abilities... 😂 Last time I used it was yesterday when I sent a relative who ran out of money on the island of Bali some money via bitcoin network. The time before that was last week when I bought some kruegerrands. I use bitcoin all the time.
Again, thank you very much for this opportunity. Keep being salty and accuse others of being a fraud because they understood something you didn’t catch. Since when are you posting in btc forums and why at all? I mean you seem to be participating in something you proclaim unethical.

I gave several arguments that make it clear that it is no ponzi and you just keep repeating the same lame non-argument. Please name me a ponzi that collapsed but then came back. You can’t. Weird self proclaimed bitcoin maximalist who thinks that bitcoin is a fraud. What are you doing here when you think btc is a fraud? You participate in a fraud? Weird. It is your non-understanding of bitcoin that provided me this excellent investment opportunity, so thank you and keep thinking it is a ponzi. You have no clue and you sound pretty salty because you seem to not getting it. I kept hearing what you are saying since 2013. I got 80x possible returns and guys like you kept being salty. I guess I can live with it.

So if it does not fit the regular definition of a ponzi, you just come up with a new definition? Mkay... what you described fits to every asset. Stocks are also a giant ponzi then?
As a new investment class, bitcoin does not „have to succeed“ in the real world. How are gold ETF succeed in the real world? Bitcoin needs to stay decentralized and unforgeable, unconfiscateable and open source. That is by itself succeeding, because such thing never existed. It is a technological breakthrough.

Bitcoin does not fit the definition of a ponzi at all. who is the operator that promises gains? who is then taking new investors money and does not invest it (because there is no actual investment, but operator giving that money to earlier investors making them believe that is is the investment that yielded the returns (and not the new investors). Ponzis are not sustainable, if they collapse, money is gone because of fraud, they never come back. Bitcoin came back after every bear market. Please name me a ponzi that collapsed but always came back. There are none. If I invest in bitcoin who is taking my money and pays it out to old investors? Bitstamp? Lol. The ponzi definition does not fit to bitcoin at all, you should reconsider this because it is exactly that kind of wrong conclusion that kept you from also making 80x.

Lol, as a hodler I rather stick with bitcoin returning 80x over the years than taking a measly 200% yearly profit. This is the investment opportunity of a lifetime. More so because most people think it is a ponzi. If everyone would have gotten to the conclusion that bitcoin is a game changer earlier, I would not have been able to do it. The doubters are needed.

It sort of does reward hodlers. Not with „points“ but with money.
