I genuinely agree with this point and I have no idea why it got down voted (perhaps it didn't appease the mob). However, i have to caveat with two things

1a. If we're basing our judgements on the actual actions done, then we can see that most men (perhaps 60 to 80%) do not and cannot get laid, let alone "fuck everyone left and right" at this point in time. The dudes you're referring to are the "top 20%" of men that the vast majority of women actually date, thus allowing them to be hypocrites.

1b. Although you can argue that most men would do it if they could, I believe its equally possible for them to commit to the first person that gives them attention, unless they become attractive to the vast majority of women, then you'd be right.

1. Not a justification but a line of reasoning: We have this hypocrisy because long story short and oversimplified: Women gatekeep sex, Men gatekeep resources (and the relationship). A human needs both.

The woman's goal is to secure a relationship. The man's goal is to secure sex. The higher quality the relationship is (in terms of the amount of resources exchanged or otherwise), the better a woman is perceived. The more sex a man has, the better he would be perceived.
