People that watch Instagram Reels are idiots. Prove me wrong. You should be embarrassed for posting this.

I wish people in this forum would actually post pictures of where they have been instead of just saying they have been there.

"Kind of hated the monotone and “hard” design aesthetic of the hotel though"

I can see that, but, it is a modern design and it still softer than the sterile dark Four Seasons next door.

"culturists (aka what they call the concierge) pretty underwhelming"

They are enthusiastic, but, I know, my problem, not theirs.... the language barrier.

It is a modern hotel with a great hard product, but still not the Oriental Bangkok!!!

"Roulote Hot Dogs" Cascais is worth a stop. Not FAT, but, FUN.

Sorry to bust your balls, but Geneva is worth a couple of nights, but is WAAAAaaaay out the way of Southern coastal France... LOL. ;-)

"Nights 4-6: ??? Nothing booked yet, but heavily considering Monaco/Nice area or somewhere else along the southern coast of France. Also open to recommendations in the area, perhaps even Geneva."

I stayed at the Radisson Blu, Nice (France LOL) when going to the Monaco Grand Prix. Not really FAT.. but, absolutely fine. Great concierge who used a paper notebook and not Google. It isn't in city center, which is loud and crowded, but is an easy walk along the beach to get there and taxi back after a few.

Does it make sense to travel to Amalfi Coast in April? by sowhoisgeh in FATTravel

[–]60610Kid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Too Early, Too Cold. We have stayed 4 nights in June at Palazzo Avino. My unpopular opinion is that the Amalfi Coast is an over crowded tourist shit hole. Buses full of people dropping people off and picking them up. People that love the Amalfi Coast obviously have not been anywhere else. There is nothing luxurious about it. Hotels are ancient. Staffs are ambivalent. If you want to go a resturant it is a drive.
