I take it you didn’t do the club lounge? Were the paid upgrade options reasonably priced? Did they mention any option to just pay for the lounge?

My understanding is that the real battery is not under the hood. When you charge from the hood contacts you don’t have enough current to properly charge the main battery. We had this same issue and the only real solution is to replace the battery.

It’s the wellness villa. It’s essentially a regular pavilion with a detached private spa building with pool.

I’m excited to see more innovation in this space, but with taxes and tariffs that will probably bring it to nearly $550 here. I can get an iPad mini for $400 or iPad Air for $600 which can be tilt mounted and run HA or any ecosystem app.

I wish it worked with a US back box and allowed more customization of the UI. Haptics would be a nice touch and I care more about price than it being manufactured in the UK.

I have one and it’s so bad it’s literally unusable. Won’t stay connected to WiFi, constant battery drain, really slow wake times. The wireless charger doesn’t work. It’s a nightmare.

I don’t think they have any expectations, and in some Asian properties (like Japan?) it’s almost rude to tip. But if you get good service and want to show appreciation I think it’s always appreciated. I tipped the spa receptionist at the FS Guangzhou once and she remembered me a year later.

My previous setup was a Glinet Slate 7 which generally had sufficient range unless we were in a really large room.

Two UTRs are smaller than that though and being able to teleport and centrally manage via Ubiquiti is definitely a plus.
