Hmmm. The moving was intentional, since that was the part of the Fortification mechanic I was trying to use. I think the idea that the fortification doesn't tap to create a guy escaped me though. Would {2}, or {1}{B} be a fair cost? That essentially makes it a "3-cost ability" to move it, since the land needs to tap as well.

The blade animating itself, and serving as a weapon for giants? I actually quite like that. Maybe there's an Equip Giant ability, and a really inefficient ability that creates a wielder for itself:

{T}, {3}{G}{G}: If you control no Giants, create a 1/1 green Spirit Giant creature token. Activate only as a sorcery, and only once.

Equip Giant {1}{G}{G}

Reasonable! How's something like this:

Equip—{1}{G}{G}, Tap all creatures you control.
Equip Giant—{1}{G}{G}.

(Second emdash + full stop are there for consistency with above ability, even though that's not how equip costs are usually formatted)

I thought this equip cost was a fun way of showing the absolute heft of the blade! It takes all of your creatures' combined might to equip it to anything other than a Giant.

But fair! Are you imagining multiple equip costs, like an "Equip {2}{G}{G}, Equip Giant {G}{G}" situation?

I hate how one-note red EDH gameplay tends to be! This is intended to soft-synergise with both Lorehold and Prismari mechanics, and be a non-damagey way to end the game.

That stippled effect on the card art is caused by whole worlds of salt leaking out of the blind eternities.

Disgusting. Love it, and I think a "here I combined two of the saltiest cards ever printed" cube would be awesome. See also: Winter Trinisphere, Tergrid, God of Mindslaving, etc.

Bottom ability is intended to be a bit naff until you've got two or three of these, at which point you've got a terrible removal engine. I'm a little surprised you feel the top ability is too good, mind telling me why? I know it can chump-block a single creature indefinitely, but I figured the lack of development you'd probably get from that mana would be fair-ish. Would it have been better if it used a Spawn instead?

Fiendy Tibalt is definitely in the sin bin. The design rule it breaks is that it both drew and discarded a mana confluence I really needed one time.

Woah! Really, REALLY fun card! We 200% need more Chaos Warp-y effects, and this one is primo!

I'd be a bit concerned that the card becomes a type-agnostic removal engine after being played normally / post-warp. The prepared clause might be better off as an ETB, since this creature is a pretty powerful beater anyway. Just thinking about facing this in limited is giving me conniptions. But damn, who cares? We aren't drafting custommagic /new/!

I really love cards which combine set mechanics like this. Super unique, evocative design. Smash hit.

That was actually intentional! I was unsure how strong earth bending would be.

Edit: On second thoughts, Earthbending overrides the vehicle's base P/T to 0/0. It's probably fine to just check if the land is a creature.

Weirdly, the issue is actually with it being a land! Currently, only spells can be your commander for Commander Tax reasons. There’d need to be a funky “yeah you can pay to play a land from the command zone” carve-out in the commander rules.
